The China Embassy attestation process for UAE-issued documents involves the following steps:

- Commercial: Chamber of Commerce
UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA): After notarization, MOFA verifies the signature and seal of the UAE authority. This step is mandatory before China Embassy submission.

- Dubai: Submission via the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC)

Attestation of Chinese Documents for Use in the UAE

Chinese-issued documents cannot be attested by the Chinese Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the Chinese Consulate in Dubai or the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Dubai. These offices process UAE-issued documents intended for use in China.

The normal procedure for a Chinese document intended for the UAE is:

Chinese notarisation and translation
The document is submitted to the appropriate Chinese notarial authority. Depending on the document and receiving authority, an English or Arabic translation may be prepared and notarised with the original document.
Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs authentication
The notarised document is authenticated by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs or an authorised provincial or municipal Foreign Affairs Office.
UAE Embassy attestation in China
The authenticated document is submitted to the UAE Embassy in Beijing or the competent UAE mission in China according to the applicable submission procedure.
UAE MOFA completion
After the document is returned, check whether the UAE Mission-issued attestation already incorporates UAE MOFA certification. If it does not, the original document must undergo final UAE MOFA attestation before being presented to a UAE authority.
Arabic legal translation, when required
An Arabic legal translation may be required by the employer, court, licensing authority, immigration department, free zone or other organisation receiving the document.

Important Attestation Notes

Education certificate attestation at the UAE Embassy must be completed together with the other legalization stages. Previously legalized educational documents cannot be submitted later for separate UAE Embassy attestation.
Educational documents must be verified through the official CHSI verification portal before the attestation process begins. A screenshot of the verification result is generally required.
Arabic translation is commonly required for documents intended for use outside Dubai or for submission to several Dubai Free Zone authorities, including DIFC and DMCC.
Although original documents are usually required, certain documents may be processed using scanned copies depending on the document type.
Additional supporting documents such as passport copies, Emirates ID, visa copies, or authorization letters may be required depending on the document being attested.
